New July Printable Coupons & Deals

Posted by kim on July 2, 2009

Happy Fourth of JulyAre you following @ShoppingKim on Twitter yet?

June 30th marked the end of Q2 which means extra business paperwork for me, but it’s also marked the end of a coupon-filled month!  Have you weeded out your expired coupons yet? Um, me either. But it’s on my to-do list.

On the bright side, it’s a new month (and it’s my brother Mikey’s birthday!), so that means NEW Coupons!  The major coupon sites release all new coupons at the beginning of every month!  Be sure to print any that appeal to you right away as most coupons have a print limit and may not be there if you check back later!

Plus rumor has it that Kmart will be offering Super Double Coupons again on July 5th through July 11th and double manufacturer coupons (including those printed below) up to $2 in face value for savings up to $4! Woo-hoo!

Here’s my top coupon picks…

I am still recovering from my surgery last week.  I felt great last weekend so had too much fun at the Big & Rich Concert and am now paying the price! My doctor said I had a prolapse, so back to “resting” for me for a bit!  I don’t mind the “no vacuuming” part (I’m gonna milk that order for awhile with my kids), but I’ll miss playing on the lake this weekend with the “fam damily”. Have a safe and fun 4th of July weekend!

Do you ever buy cereal because it was free or really really cheap and then your kids (&/or you) won’t eat it?  And if the package is already open you can’t donate to a food panty, so I have this recipe for cereal muffins that my kids love…

Cereal Muffins
2 cups cereal (you can use any kind of cereal. I like the bran cereals best)
1 1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1/3 cup softened margarine
1 cup flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup raisins
Add milk to cereal. Let stand until soft.  Add egg and margarine. Beat well. Mix in flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Bake in muffin pan at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Great, now I’m hungry…
