I’ve been traveling quite a bit lately, and I always watch for the best travel deals.
Two weeks ago, I attended BlogWorld New Media Expo in Las Vegas where I spoke on Affiliate Marketing Blogging Secrets. I booked my flight through Allegiant Air thinking I was getting a great deal at only $75 each way, but the segment and convenience fees really added up. Then I ended up having to pay $140 to check-in two luggage bags that were too big to carry-on! And I refused to pay extra to pick my seat or to pay $2 for a glass of water to drink.
But the flight did not deter Squeak and I from having fun (and shopping for shoes). We attended Cirque du Soliel’s The Beatles LOVE performance which was phenomenal! I’ve now seen three incredible Cirque du Soliel performances, and I hope to see Mystere next time I visit Vegas.
Last weekend, I spent the weekend at Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach, California, courtesy of ShareASale which had to be the nicest hotel room (actually it was called a “bungalow”) that I have ever stayed in! Definitely a top rate resort! And next week I’m making a quick trip to Florida. Jet lag hasn’t hit me yet!
On my “bucket list” is to visit several countries, and after seeing thisAccor Hotels 3-Day Super Sale Asia Pacific, it is tempting to to book another trip! Over one million hotel rooms are on sale beginning today through October 29th, 2009, with rates starting as low as $30 USD per night for stays between December 2009 and April 2010. The countries included in the sale are Thailand, Korea, China, Japan, HK, Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Fiji, Indonesia, Taiwan, India and Bali. I’d love to visit any and all of them!
The banks and post office are closed today in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, but that didn’t stop me from making a Mailbox Monday video – only took me three attempts!
Today is also my Grandma Sutter’s birthday. She doesn’t have a computer, so won’t hear my shout-out to her. Luckily all of my free address labels come in handy when I send her a birthday card via snail mail.

Trivia of the day: Do you know what a Brannok Device is? Upon googling for the exact definition of this shoe size measuring instrument, I noticed that Zappos spelled the name wrong on the inside of their crowns – It should be BrannoCk Device!
