Target Good Deals Alert

Posted by kim on July 31, 2009

Target BullseyeMy daughter had birthday money and gift cards burning a hole in her pocket, so off to Target we went! I saw in the ad they were offering jeans for $7 and shoes for $9. Unfortunately none were in her size. She ended up getting nothing there, but I found some deals…

Kellogg’s Pop Tarts $1.79 minus 75¢ printable coupons (my kids seem to think they can only eat “Pop Tart” brand toaster pastries and not generics, so $1.04/box is a good price. I wish Target had a better selection of flavors, though (like Frosted Cherry, hint hint).

Soft Soap Ensembles Liquid Hand Soap was on clearance for $3 minus $2 off Target coupon minus $2 manufacturer coupon = PROFIT (the scanner took off both coupons with no problem!)

Crest Whitestrips Advanced Seal Trial Size $4.99 minus $5 coupon I had from Sunday paper (P&G insert from 6/7/09). The cashier had to call a manager since the coupon was over the amount, but they did let me have $4.99 off making them FREE. There is also a printable $7 off coupon that may work?

I also used my free Jergens coupon from Jergens Natural Glow Moisturizer Color Guarantee to get a free bottle of Jergens Skin Firming Daily Toning Moisturizer (this stuff really works on the flabby arms and reducing the appearance of cellulite on the thighs).

Target has tons of toys on clearance, marked down 75%! I got the Partini board game for only $5 that I plan to give to my brother for Christmas. This retails for $30.99 and is still $22.19 on Amazon!

They also have school supplies on sale, such as pens, book covers, and paints only 50¢. Don’t forget to print out a $1 off 2 Bic products manufacturer coupon to combine with a $1 off 2 Bic Target Coupon to use!

And there are even more Target Deals…

Sony Rewards is offering $2 off any Movie Staycation DVD (pick Target as your retailer), and it works on the $5 Movies making them $3 Movies! Some of the titles include 50 First Dates, Annie, As Good As It Gets, Karate Kid, Madeline, Matilda, Milo & Otis, Muppets from Space, Stuart Little and many more.  And the deal gets better… Buy 6 movies, and register them on the Movie Staycation website, to get another movie FREE (no s/h either)!  This deal is also valid at Amazon.com (click for more details).

Scrubbing Bubbles Shower Cleaner is $12.99 minus $7 printable coupon minus Starter Package Refund Offer = Profit! It’s an even better deal if you got the $5 Target Gift Card Coupon in the SmartSource insert from 7/26/09 (it was a regional offer).

I couldn’t find the following deals at my local Target store, so they may be available only at Super Targets?

Kashi Cereal Cups $1 minus $1 Target Coupon = Free

Kellogg’s Cinnabon Bars $1.75 minus $1 off coupon = Yum!

Please share any Target good deals you find as well!
