I’ve been snowed in and unable to take advantage of all the after-Christmas sales. I finally ventured out in the below zero temperatures yesterday, and the selection of 75% off stuff at Target and Walmart wasn’t much to write about. Walgreens had a ton of stuff at 50% off, and I asked one of my manager friends when it would be marked to 75% off, and he said they weren’t going to mark it down further!?
I did manage to pick up two Sunday Omaha World Heralds – they are only $1.19 at Walmart (compared to $2 cover price) – as there were a ton of good coupons in the 1/3 issue. The $2.50 off Electrasol Finish tabs* more than pays for the issue price.
Finish/Electrasol Detergent is on sale at Walgreens this week for $3.29 minus $1 Register Rewards minus coupon = Profit!
Since it’s not only a new month, it’s a new year, so that means new printable coupons as well! Easy Salted Nut Rolls Recipe
16 oz jar dry roasted peanuts
1 pkg peanut butter chips
1 (10 oz) pkg mini marshmallows
3 tbsp margarine
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Sprinkle half of peanuts in greased 9×13 pan. Melt margarine and chips in microwave. Add sweetened condensed milk. Cook for 2 more minutes. Stir in marshmallows until coated. Pour in pan and top with rest of nuts. Chill. Enjoy. Thanks Jolie for the recipe!
