Celebrating a Celebridemic?

Posted by kim on June 30, 2009

Many people believe the “people die in three’s” theory, and there certainly has been a Celebridemic going on with two sets of three celebrities dying within the last week. In case you have been trapped in a closet and aren’t up to par on the news, here’s who everyone is grieving…

Ed McMahon - Most notorious for being Johnny Carson’s sidekick on The Tonight Show, his last gig was the Cash4Gold.com commercial that aired during the Super Bowl. Have you requested a Free Refiners Return Pak from Cash4Gold yet? It’s totally free, with no obligation whatsoever.

Angel Mourning GraveFarrah Fawcett – I was so hoping Farrah could beat the odds and overcome her cancer and marry Ryan O’Neal before she died. She is true Angel now. Farrah’s famous Swimsuit Poster will forever be a classic.

Michael Jackson – In junior high, I had a poster of MJ hanging up in my bedroom and knew every word to every song he sang! Now Michael Jackson’s 25th Anniversary of Thriller Album is flying off the shelves (currently on sale for $13.99 from Amazon.com). I’m betting I still know the words to most of the songs!

Billy Mays - Known for his As Seen On TV infomercials, products included:
What Odor? Guaranteed to remove any odor, including pets, urine & skunk
Flies Away Makes flies go away for good, used by farmers & military
Mighty Putty Fix, fill and seal virtually anything up to 350 lbs
Awesome Auger Takes the hard work out of yard work
Zorbeez Like ShamWow but better! Absorbs 27 times greater than towels
Simoniz Fit It! Scratch remover for any surface or color
Tool Band-it Rugged, flexible, lightweight, magnetic armband for tools
Mighty Mendit Fast, easy way to mend, hem and wear again
Quick Chop Fast, easy way to chop, mince, slice and dice with just a tap

Fred Travalena – I have to admit I had to google Fred Travalena to realize I have seen him on television and heard him do voice credits in cartoons. He succumbed to cancer as well.

Gale Storm – Yeah, I didn’t know her either (I’m not that old).  But she was an actress who starred in TV sitcoms in the 1950s, namely My Little Margie.

Ok, enough mourning, let’s go back to shopping
