Save with Discounted Newspapers

Posted by kim on January 28, 2010

Sunday Newspaper with Coupon InsertsI think most of you will agree that the best place to get your manufacturer coupons (besides printable coupons from the internet) is from the coupon inserts in the Sunday newspapers. Am I right?

Subscribing to newspapers is usually less expensive than buying a single copy each week. And most regions let you subscribe to “Sunday only” delivery if you don’t want/need the other days’ news.

Well, I found a site – DiscountedNewspapers.com – that let’s you save even more on those newspaper subscriptions!  Discounted Newspapers can save you up to 75% or get up to four weeks free on local newspaper delivery!  Simply enter your zip code to check delivery rates in your area!

Here is what I found for my area and I did some price comparison…

Lincoln Journal Star

Sunday Edition bought at Newsstand: $1.75

Order Subscription directly through JournalStar.com: Sunday only Delivery 26 weeks for $138.32 = $5.32 per issue!! Do people really order/pay that much?

Order Subscription through DiscountedNewspapers.com: Wednesday AND Sunday Delivery only $1 per week!

Wow! I guess it pays to shop around for everything, even newspaper subscriptions!

I also recommend subscribing to All You Magazine, as it is another great manufacturer coupon source, and I found the best price for that here. :-)
