Most people look forward to the weekends. Personally, I look forward to Monday mornings when all the kids go to school! Hard to believe school will be out of the summer in a few weeks. Then my nerves will really be put to the test.
Luckily this weekend was jam-packed with stuff with do, which equates to less fighting amongst my four offspring. Saturday morning, we rushed to and from Girl Scouts, soccer games and a track meet. And the remainder of the day of taken up with Sara’s wedding. Sara enters sweepstakes for ShoppingBookmarks.com, and she had a beautiful wedding. The old wive’s tale is that if it rains on your wedding day, you will be rich. I hope she shares her wealth, and we wish her the best of luck.
And today was Merin’s baptism, and I am her Godmother. She looked so beautiful in her father’s baptismal gown.
The only mishap of the weekend was that my son broke yet another bottle of my favorite fragrance! I cannot wait for my new house to be finished for us all to have our own bathrooms! But until then, this one is smelling pretty!
