In honor of Veteran’s Day upcoming on Friday, November 11th, 2011, all Dollar General stores are offering a 10% off discount for all Veterans, Active Military and their families who come to shop in their stores! No coupon will be required to participate in this promotion and receive the discount. The 10% discount is also available online to EVERYONE who shops at DollarGeneral.com and uses the coupon code: VETERANSDAY at checkout.
You can share your support by recording and uploading a video with a brief message to give thanks to the troops and our veterans.
Dollar General will be featuring all these videos on the Dollar General official Facebook page.
You can also show your support by sending a care package to any military troop of your choice. Dollar General will be offering different price range options ($20 and/or $30) of care packages for either servicemen and/or service women. Items included in the care packages are essentials like toothbrushes, shampoo and eye drops, and also include some snack items like candy and nuts. Dollar General will also ship these military care packages with FREE SHIPPING to any valid US or military address provided!
