Libby’s Virtual Canned Food Drive

Posted by kim on November 5, 2009

One in 8 Americans is struggling with hunger, including millions of children. Please join me in the Libby’s Virtual Canned Food Drive to help keep food from going to waste by getting it to those who need it most. The Virtual Canned Food Drive raises money for Feeding America, the nations largest domestic hunger-relief organization.

Every $5 you give provides 35 meals for hungry families. And every dollar you donate* will be matched by Libby’s, up to $30,000! Spending $5 is like buying an extra McDonald’s Happy Meal for my family, so it is a no-brainer for me to want to contribute and help out with Libbys Virtual Canned Food Drive.

My personal goal is to raise $1000. If you donate, I will recognize you (and your website if applicable) on Kim’s Shopping Blog, Facebook and Twitter as a way to thank you. If you can’t donate at this time, please share this website link with someone who may be able to, as we don’t want any children to go hungry this coming holiday season!

Your donation is tax deductible.  You will receive an official tax receipt via postal mail.

Please consider giving up that extra Starbucks Caffe Verona Decaf Tall Latte for a day to Donate to Libby’s Virtual Canned Food Drive!

Thank you!
