Learn to cook in style in Branson

Posted by kim on October 1, 2009

I’ve mentioned before that I don’t cook, and I don’t clean. Hey, I can’t be good at everything, LOL.  If I didn’t already have prior commitments* for the weekend of October 16th and 17th, I would love to attend the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel’s Cooking School Weekend where the Hotel’s very own Chef Nathan Read will teach participants how to prepare appetizers and a lavish four-course dinner paired with appropriate wines, all of which you get to eat the day prior!

The package deal includes deluxe hotel accommodations for two people Friday and Saturday evening all for just $398.00 plus tax for both nights, which is a good deal. Plus the is within easy driving distance of Branson’s championship golf courses, lakes, museums and 49 live entertainment theaters, so it’s make a great quick vacation trip!

Since I’ve personally never been to Branson and would like to go someday, this offer is even more appealing to me! My sister went on a trip to Branson with her high school band (they marched and play their instruments at Silver Dollar City). My mother frequents there often as her “best friend in Missouri” lives near there. And even my kids have been there just this summer on vacation with relatives. But I have yet to experience it!

*I actually will be staying at a different Hilton hotel that same weekend, but I’ll be in Las Vegas! I am speaking at the BlogWorld New Media Expo, so wish me luck!
