Girls’ Shopping Day Out!

I finally invested in a Sam’s Club Membership. I went with 2 of my girlfriends to Sioux City on Friday and dropped $350 on my first purchase there. I carefully calculated everything I bought first to make sure I was getting a deal buying in bulk because some of the stuff is not a good deal at all. I was excited to stock up on canned goods like SpaghettiOs and Tostito’s Cheese Dip to fill up my new pantry. Before I go back next time, I want to price compare a few other items per ounce cost.

While in SC, we also had to hit the strip mall. I can hardly believe that I did not buy a thing at Gordman’s. Oh, trust me, I would have liked a bunch of the home decor, but it was a little too pricey for me.

But I hit the jackpot at Old Navy! Tons of clothes for 97¢ each! No women’s, but I got a few girl clothes (for my daughters and god-daughter and a bunch of nice Men’s shirts (dress and casual) all 97¢ each!! They even had XXL – I can cross a few men off my Christmas list!

We also ate at Red Robin. The Pot Roast Burger and the Strawberry Daiquiris were quite good.
