Caffeine is Addicting

Posted by kim on June 14, 2006

My original intent of going to Target today was to see if they had Pepsi products on sale (which they don’t – it’s Coke) as I was going through Diet Dew withdrawals. Of course, every time I step into the Bullseye store, I have to check out every endcap for clearance finds. All of their Summer Stuff was 30% off. I scoped everything out and hope to get some of the things when they are marked down further, 50% off or more (ie beach towels, coolers, propane bottles, etc). The only things I actually purchased were some $1 flip-flops for the girls from the Dollar Spot and a cute pink laundry basket for my girls.

I had to get my Pepsi products at Lou’s, a family owned grocery store on sale for 4/$11. I prefer to buy it 4/$10, but when you need caffeine, you need caffeine! My daughter, Mallory, is honestly addicted to caffeine. Since she was a preemie and would “forget to breathe”, I had to feed her straight caffeine with a syringe until she was over 2 years old! Thus the addiction. She needs at least one soda a day to keep headaches away.

Too bad I’m not a Diet Coke drinker as Walgreens has Diet Coke 4/$5 after $5 rebate!
