Frying with the McRowley’s

My kids eat a lot of chicken nuggets (they prefer “smooth”, not “bumpy”) and french fries (Ore Ida’s Cottage Fries are their favorite). Today when I looking online at the rewards I could get free from my Citi Simplicity Rewards Card, I saw I could get a DeLonghi 3-Pound Capacity Deep Fryer for 10,000 points (you get 10,000 points free after first use). Or I could get a $100 gift card. So I did my research to see if the fryer was $100 value.

I ended up finding it at Amazon, and yes, it was $99.95 w/FREE Shipping (but the list price was $140). BUT Amazon has a 10% off Code: IODISCNT right now PLUS a $20 mail-in rebate (if you purchase by 4/30). And the reviews were so good on the DeLonghi D455DZ Dual Zone 3-Pound Capacity Deep Fryer, so I ordered one that ends up costing me $69.95 shipped!

And I ordered myself a free $100 Target gift card from Citibank!
