Thank God for Walmart

On my way to the airport, two hours from home, I went to apply some lip gloss, and realized I had forgot to put my makeup bag in my purse! I still had my main makeup packed in my suitcase, but I like to carry some for touch-ups, along with an extra toothbrush, Tylenol, etc. And most of all, it had my prescription medication in it that I needed!

Luckily we found a Walmart on the way that could transfer my prescription from my local Walmart store. So, while waiting for that to be filled, I not only bought some new makeup, I decided to buy a new digital camera!

I bought Kodak 3.1 MP EasyShare CD33 Digital Camera along with a 256 MB card to save my pictures. The only thing I forgot was an extra set of digital camera batteries. I was so excited with my new “toy” that I kept reviewing my pictures after I’d taken them, which wears down the batteries considerably. And regular alkaline batteries don’t work. I think the hotels and airports should invest in carrying digital camera batteries – they would’ve had a sale from me! I have since invested in rechargeable batteries. But I’m hoping Menards offers digi-cam batteries free-after-rebate again soon!
