Cold Weather Brings Out Colds

Nebraska weather is so unpredictable. 90 degrees one day; Below freezing the next. Air Conditioner running one day; Furnace kicks in the next. Every day, my kids look up Yahoo Weather to see how to dress for school.

I am anxious for the fall sports season to come to an end. I have been wrapped up in heavy coats and blankets for soccer games and football games the last week. We ventured to Sioux Falls, SD, yesterday to watch my brother play football for South Dakota State University (Go SDSU!). It was a good game, and we won!

And now this cold weather has given me a cold of my own. My throat hurts, and I’m getting sick of coughing. My voice is so weak that I can’t even yell at the kids to stop fighting! I can’t wait for tomorrow for them to go to school, so I can rest.
