From Boston to Beijing to the Pierce County Fair

This past weekend, the kids and I braved the heat at the big Pierce County Fair. It proved to be an expensive venture with carnival rides and games, but the church stand food and funnel cakes were worth the money.
The kids liked the Monster Trucks and the Demolition Derby the best. I enjoyed the performance of Tonic Sol-Fa. I was expecting a barber shop quartet signing a cappella, but after seeing and hearing them, I was impressed! I’m off to buy their new album, Boston to Beijing.
