More Walgreens Hot Deals

Today, I ran into Walgreen’s to see if they had any more of the Free-After-Rebate items available. I think I am just going to give up trying to get the Hydrogen Peroxide Solution Lens Cleaner. I can’t use it anyway (thanks to Lasik!), but would have given it to my sister as she wears contacts.

I thought the Listerine Whitening Mouthwash was on sale for $4 with a $4 rebate this week, but it rang up $4.99 on my receipt. I won’t complain, since I was able to use $1.50 SS coupon on it, so still will profit.

BUT, I got some other great deals! Since you can combine manufacturer’s coupons with in-store coupons, I decided to try using the B1G1F coupons together since my friend said it worked.

I was able to get 2 FREE Glade Air Fresheners and 4 FREE packs of gum (Big Red & Winterfresh)! The instore coupon took off the price of one, and the manufacturer coupon took off the price of the second item!

Also, there is an instore coupon to get the Glade Scented Oil Plug-In for $2.99, and there is a $3.00 SS coupon out there!

I did need to get a prescription refilled, too, but after calling around to the different pharmacies, Walgreens was the most expensive! I was able to get it the cheapest at a non-chain store local pharmacy. Be sure to always ask the doctor for free samples, too, as sometimes they will give you the full amount you need!
