New July Printable Coupons & Deals

Posted by kim on July 2, 2009

Happy Fourth of JulyAre you following @ShoppingKim on Twitter yet?

June 30th marked the end of Q2 which means extra business paperwork for me, but it’s also marked the end of a coupon-filled month!  Have you weeded out your expired coupons yet? Um, me either. But it’s on my to-do list.

On the bright side, it’s a new month (and it’s my brother Mikey’s birthday!), so that means NEW Coupons!  The major coupon sites release all new coupons at the beginning of every month!  Be sure to print any that appeal to you right away as most coupons have a print limit and may not be there if you check back later!

Plus rumor has it that Kmart will be offering Super Double Coupons again on July 5th through July 11th and double manufacturer coupons (including those printed below) up to $2 in face value for savings up to $4! Woo-hoo!

Here’s my top coupon picks…

Coupons.com (currently 112 different coupons)
- 55¢ &/or 75¢ off Big G Cereals (ie Total, CheeriOs, Reese’s Puffs)
- $5 off $25 at Rite Aid (I wish I lived near a Rite Aid)
- $1 off Goody Ouchless Flex Headband (my daughters love these)
- 50¢ off Betty Crocker Warm Delights (yum!)

- $1.50 off 2 Kellogg’s Mini-Wheats (this coupon worked on ANY Kellogg’s cereal for me at Walgreens where Kellogg’s cereals are on sale for $1.99 this week)
- $1 off Eggo Bake Shop
- $1.50 off Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towelettes

SmartSource.com (90+ Coupons)
- BOGO Velveeta Shells & Cheese (did you get your Free Cups?)
- 50¢ off Betty Crocker Frosting (some Walmarts have this for only 88¢)
- $2 off 2 Kotex Pads (These are only $1 at Walmart = Free + Request a Free Kotex Sample)
- $2.25 off Ecotrin Aspirin (Currently $2 at Walgreens with $2 Register Rewards = Free + Profit)
- $1 off DenTek Complete Clean Floss Picks (These are only $1 at Walmart = Free)
- $1 - $2.50 off Biz Stain Fighter Product (depends on zipcode) Combine with Money Back Guarantee = Free + Profit

I am still recovering from my surgery last week.  I felt great last weekend so had too much fun at the Big & Rich Concert and am now paying the price! My doctor said I had a prolapse, so back to “resting” for me for a bit!  I don’t mind the “no vacuuming” part (I’m gonna milk that order for awhile with my kids), but I’ll miss playing on the lake this weekend with the “fam damily”. Have a safe and fun 4th of July weekend!

Celebrating a Celebridemic?

Posted by kim on June 30, 2009

Many people believe the “people die in three’s” theory, and there certainly has been a Celebridemic going on with two sets of three celebrities dying within the last week. In case you have been trapped in a closet and aren’t up to par on the news, here’s who everyone is grieving…

Ed McMahon - Most notorious for being Johnny Carson’s sidekick on The Tonight Show, his last gig was the Cash4Gold.com commercial that aired during the Super Bowl. Have you requested a Free Refiners Return Pak from Cash4Gold yet? It’s totally free, with no obligation whatsoever.

Angel Mourning GraveFarrah Fawcett - I was so hoping Farrah could beat the odds and overcome her cancer and marry Ryan O’Neal before she died. She is true Angel now. Farrah’s famous Swimsuit Poster will forever be a classic.

Michael Jackson - In junior high, I had a poster of MJ hanging up in my bedroom and knew every word to every song he sang! Now Michael Jackson’s 25th Anniversary of Thriller Album is flying off the shelves (currently on sale for $13.99 from Amazon.com). I’m betting I still know the words to most of the songs!

Billy Mays - Known for his As Seen On TV infomercials, products included:
What Odor? Guaranteed to remove any odor, including pets, urine & skunk
Flies Away Makes flies go away for good, used by farmers & military
Mighty Putty Fix, fill and seal virtually anything up to 350 lbs
Awesome Auger Takes the hard work out of yard work
Zorbeez Like ShamWow but better! Absorbs 27 times greater than towels
Simoniz Fit It! Scratch remover for any surface or color
Tool Band-it Rugged, flexible, lightweight, magnetic armband for tools
Mighty Mendit Fast, easy way to mend, hem and wear again
Quick Chop Fast, easy way to chop, mince, slice and dice with just a tap

Fred Travalena - I have to admit I had to google Fred Travalena to realize I have seen him on television and heard him do voice credits in cartoons. He succumbed to cancer as well.

Gale Storm - Yeah, I didn’t know her either (I’m not that old).  But she was an actress who starred in TV sitcoms in the 1950s, namely My Little Margie.

Ok, enough mourning, let’s go back to shopping
